Marla Hansen
Marla Hansen is a US singer-songwriter, violist and violinist. She toured the world as a violist with the New York string quartet Osso and began developing her own projects.
As a violinist, Marla toured for several years with Jens Lekman's band and in recent years has collaborated with musicians* and artists such as The National, Jay-Z and The Hidden Cameras.
Her first release as a solo musician was in 2007 with Wedding Day. In 2012, the talented musician composed the music for the documentary The Other Half Of Tomorrow, a film about women fighting for change in Pakistan. In 2020, her next album Dust was released, whose tracks are a mixture of folk and electro.
