Mariusz Lubomski

Mariusz Lubomski is an artist, musician and lyricist from Toruń. His work is very sophisticated – the sound layer based on classic blues, bossa nova rhythms or sharp rock sounds, clearly expose the timeless lyrics. The artist debuted at the Student Song Exchange, where together with the group I z Poznania i z Torunia, they distinguished themselves with the song *Impreza w klubie harcerza. In 1985 the group won the first PaKa Cabaret Review. In 1987 Lubomski won the first prize at the Student Song Festival in Krakow. The artist has recorded five albums and a dozen or so TV concerts. He is invited to participate in the biggest Polish music events. He performed, among others, in the concert *Nick Cave i przyjaciele in Wrocław, Zielono Mi in Opole devoted to Agnieszka Osiecka and at the final concert 23 PPA Kombinat – the last performance of the band Republika. Mariusz Lubomski is a co-founder of the cult – no longer existing – Klub Niebo in Toruń, co-founder of the B61 Institute. He is also associated with Przegląd Piosenki Aktorskiej in Wrocław, among others as a member of the PPA Programme Council.
