Małgola, No
Cardiff-based Polish art pop auteur Małgola, No started her music career in 2010, forming the indie rock band 100% Rabbit; eventually debuting solo with the album A/B in 2016. The record was critically acclaimed and gained Małgola, No slots at big showcase festivals like Liverpool Sound City, ENEA Spring Break and FOCUS Wales. Her second LP was 2022's Polish-language Jaskinia chrabiej czaszki, a multidisciplinary concept work with lyric sheets in a form of comic book strips. Apart from her solo work, Małgola also performs in her original band 100% Rabbit and the esoteric indie-pop collective Live, Do Nothing; also a film music composer, her most notable works are soundtracks to Bartosz Toboła's shorts The Cabin and The Test, the latter awarded and nominated at many international festivals, including a nomination for best soundtrack at Bucharest ShortCut Cinefest 2021.
