Malaka Hostel

Malaka Hostel are characterized by a fusion of different genres of Polka beats, Swing and Reggae rhythms that take you on a journey which has a clear line despite its versatile style. Hot cumbia rhythms meet rock'n'roll riffs, a piece of Klezmer is suddenly transformed into driving ska. At the percussions, Grischa Kursawe uses an original setup to create a colorful rhythms, to which Holger Guirisberger on the harmonica and the keys adds some rock'n'roll vibes. Together with Tatan on the trumpet, brass movements are created which balance people on swift beats and make people sweat. Werner Wilz, who has already made a name for himself in the reggae band DubTub, provides a solid foundation on bass and drums. On guitar and vocals, Viktor Myron performs with an extroverted stage show and authentic songwriting.
