Lee Van Dowski
Lee Van Dowski is a French-born Swiss-based artist who was born as Renaud Lewandowski. He has made himself a name as a talented artist combining dark and uplifting electronic music playing extended DJ sets and delivering captivating releases.
Raised with rock and hip-hop, Lee was a guitarist at a school band before following his stepfather's eclectic musical taste spanning from classical music and jazz to funk, rock, academic electronic music or musique concrete. In 1993 a friend took Lee to his first rave in Southern France and he was overwhelmed. Soon after, Lee got involved with the infamous Dragon Bal raves and began DJing.
In Geneva, Lee made a degree in music engineering besides working at a music shop in Lausanne and building his own studio. Between 2004 and 2013 Lee was a mainstay of Luciano's highly regarded Cadenza imprint. Today, Lee looks back on an impressive discography involving labels such as Cocoon, Soma, BPitch Control and many others.
