laug.sonoris: fallen.leaves

Can music express an extra-musical agenda? When is it a sound painting and when is it a radical structural process? What else is music?

The Trenčín-Prague ensemble laug.sonoris presents a programme that reflects the impermanence, transformation and subtle details of sound textures, noises, but also tones! The Central European premiere will feature a large-scale work by the German contemporary music phenomenon Enno Poppe, in which sound is layered like fallen leaves - in constant motion, changeable, yet precisely structured at the same time. Contrasting this will be Ondřej Štochl's sonically detailed and introspective composition, which works with the sensitive nuances of sound and the temporal perspective of perception.
