Lapidary – The Story of Stone

An exhibition of geology; archaeology, and lapidary provides a fascinating view of a number of artefacts from the museum's collections, whose common denominator is the stone in all its forms - as a rock, tool, and work of art. Among others, it houses the Celtic Monoxyl, a hand-carved boat from the Early Iron Age.
