Ladislav Sutnar Gallery

Ladislav Sutnara Gallery was established in May 2011 transformations present University Gallery, located in the cultural heart of the city – in the immediate vicinity of the j. k. Tyl theatre, Burgher, the education and research library of the pilsener region, the West Bohemian Museum or library of the city of Pilsen. Her long-term goal is to establish itself as a prestigious Gallery, which focuses mainly on the issue of contemporary design and applied arts. This position should reflect the increasing importance of, and the importance of the Faculty of design and art of Ladislav Sutnara in Pilsen and regional culture and education. The Gallery hosts exhibitions of local and visiting teachers and students, at the same time and in the context of cross-border cooperation euroregionální publicises the creation of related international artists, designers and institutions.
