Kraftwerk Berlin
Until 1997 the cogeneration plant of Berlin-Mitte was in operation. The huge building complex was built in 1961 and after its shutdown, the famous techno club Tresor moved into the premises in 2007. After a lot of renovation and modification of the rest of the plant, it turned into one of Berlins biggest venues for art exhibitions, congresses, concerts and live music recordings. Among other artists, Einstürzende Neubauten, Kasabian, Get Well Soon and Max Here already played the venue, now known as Kraftwerk Berlin.
