Komische Oper Berlin
The Komische Oper Berlin is an opera house in Berlin-Mitte. It is the smallest of the three operas of Berlin and part of the foundation Oper in Berlin, together with the Deutsche Oper, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and the Staatsballett Berlin.
One very unique aspect of the opera building is that its simple facade, the modern foyer and also the modern shifting hall out of the 1960s are so clearly contrasting the neobarock inner space and stage that for the most part was not destroyed during World War II.
