Kollektiv Ost
Both Sandro Schäufler and Marcel Schulz are originally from the beautiful Mecklenburg and both possess a passionate enthusiasm for electronic music and everything related to it since their early youth.
After initially using the name Kollektiv Ost towards the end of 2003 as a synonym for underground dance entertainment, it now stands for the musical weekend relationship of the two. "Weekend relationship" because Marcel moved to the German capital some time ago, while Sandro still stays in his home country. The physical distance, however, is downright advantageous for the likeable-crazy duo: while one soaks up metropolitan influences and ideas, the other uses the tranquility and inspiration of nature, so that both complement each other in a rather unique selection of compelling tech house rhythms.
