Keishiro Mikawa
He was born in Tokyo in 1996. He has been playing the piano since the age of 5 and the cello since the age of 10. In 2011, he began studying piano at the Tokyo Metropolitan Arts High School. After a year, he switched to cello. In 2014, he began studying at the Tokyo University of the Arts, graduating in 2018. In 2020, he played at the opening concert of the Young Prague festival. From 2022 to 2023, he played in the PKF Prague Philharmonia academy. Since 2023, he has been playing in the orchestra of the National Theater Brno. In 2024, he completed his master's degree at HAMU in the class of Professor Michal Kaňka.
