Katarzyna Głowicka
Katarzyna Głowicka gained international renown thanks to her album Red Sun released by Bôłt Records in 2014. Soon her works were ordered by renowned international bands and soloists, including BBC Scottish Ensemble, ensemble recherche, Holland Symfonia or European Contemporary Orchestra. The artist cooperated with representatives of the classical and avant-garde music scene. Katarzyna Głowicka's works were presented in the Americas, Europe and Australia during leading festivals such as Wien Modern, Biennale di Venezia, Warsaw Autumn, Music Week Gaudeamus or World Days of New Music. Her mentors include Louis Andriessen, Martijn Padding, Ivan Fedele, Michael Alcorn and Grażyna Pstrokońska-Nawratil. Together with Krystian Lad, the artist creates operational performances as part of The Airport Society collective. He lives in the Netherlands, where he is not permanently associated with any group. He teaches computer music at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels.
