Kakkmaddafakka
Norwegian indie band Kakkmaddafakka returns to Prague's MeetFactory after eight years, they will perform there on 11 November 2024.
Kakkmaddafakka is a Norwegian indie rock band from Bergen, founded in 2004 by brothers Axeland Pal Vindenes. Today it consists of five members and since 2007 they have released a total of seven albums, the most recent of which so far, Revelation, has introduced listeners to more commercial arena rock. The band is renowned for its energetic live performances and has received a lot of attention in Norway. They are a favourite of fellow Norwegian natives Kings of Convenience and Whitest Boy Alive, although KMF's music differs greatly from their work – KMF are influenced by rap, funk, disco, jazz, rock and pop. Sometimes the five-piece grows to include more musicians during concerts, and often there are as many as twelve on stage. Their cover version of Haddaway's hit What Is Love, which they play at their concerts, is unforgettable. Their latest single is this year's Sorry (F-Boy confession), with 2011's Restless and the two-years-younger Forever Alone being their biggest hits.
