Jule Malischke

Guitarist, singer and composer Julia Malischke (*1986), performing under the stage name Jule Malischke, was born in the German city of Heidenheim an der Brenz. She started playing the guitar at the age of eight. In the years 1997 to 2004, she regularly placed on the top of the regional and regional competition rounds. At the age of fifteen, she started playing electro-acoustic and electric instruments in addition to classical guitar. She performed with the band Ikarus from the age of seventeen. In 2005, she founded the guitar duo PEP TALK with Willi Geyer, where she began to focus on composition as well as singing. In the years 2005-2012 she studied pedagogy at the University of Augsburg. In parallel, she has been studying music composition at the Leopold-Mozart Center in Augsburg since 2009. She continued her bachelor's degree in 2013 by studying jazz / rock / pop acoustic guitar at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden in the class of Thomas Fellow. He currently teaches at the Hochschule für Musik Carl Maria von Weber in Dresden.

Jule Malischke will perform as part of the Prague Guitar Forum project. It consists of a two-day international conference in the field of classical guitar. This year's theme is rhythm. Admission is free for accredited participants of the Prague Guitar Forum festival.
