Jonne
Korpiklaani is not enough for a restless spirit like Jonne Järvelä. Although the Finnish multi-instrumentalist doesn't complain about not being busy with his mother band, in 2014 he decided that this one wasn't enough for him and formed Jonne, a band using acoustic instruments and moving only through folk territory. Ten musicians are involved in Jonne. Among them there are names known on the metal scene, such as two members of the legendary Amorphis, or Battlelore. Korpiklaani fans know that Järvelä feels best when singing in his native language, which is also how he sings songs in his solo band/project. It is perhaps a little less dynamic than Korpiklaani, but beautiful melodies are very much there.
