Jan Spálený Trio
Jan Spálený Trio is a more intimate version of the better known ASPM (Amateur Association of Professional Musicians). The trio appeared on the Czech music scene in 1984. Pianist and singer Jan Spaleny was accompanied by guitarist and accordionist Petr Kalandra and saxophonist Frantisek Havlicek. After Kalandra and Havlíček's departure, Jan Spálený surrounded himself with mostly jazz players and continued to cultivate his original manuscript.
