Interpol is an American indie-rock band originating from New York. Among its current members include Paul Banks (vocals, guitar), Daniel Kessler (guitar), and Sam Fogarino (drums).
The band was formed in 1997, four years later, the critics acclaimed the debut album was released titled Turn on the Bright Lights. The second album Antics with strong singles "Evil", "Slow Hands" or "NARC" has scored at home (15th place in the USA), as well as on the Islands (21 in the UK). Followed by 18 months long Antics tour, where he played alongside such groups as U2 or The Cure. In 2007, released their third album, Our Love to Admire the full slower songs that charted, however, on the second and fourth place of the British, the American album charts respectively. In 2010 he left her Bassist Carlos a Dangler and released 4. Studio album by Interpol. The last planned album to bear the name of El Pintor and has come out 8. September 2014 under the label Matador records. The album will contain 10 tracks and 11 overall. the song "The Depths" is to be found on a special edition of the album.
