Imminence
Imminence is an alternative metalcore band from the south coast of Sweden. It was formed in Malmö, Sweden in 2009. It is fronted by singer and violinist Eddie Berg, guitarists Harald Barrett and Alex Arnoldsson, drummer Peter Hanström and bassist Christian Höijer.
Their debut album I was released in 2014. It was followed by This Is Goodbye (2017), Turn the Light On (2019), Turn the Light On: Acoustic Reimagination (2020), and Heaven in Hiding (2021). In April 2024, they released The Black.
In 2023 Imminence started a new chapter and since June 2023 5 singles have already been released. New tracks Come Hell or High Water, Desolation, Heaven Shall Burn, Death by a Thousand Cuts and Continuum quickly gained millions of streams, worldwide attention and a huge increase in social media following. Imminence's latest tracks are a testament to their evolution and are rightly hailed as their most innovative and progressive works to date. The band have ventured into a darker and more orchestral realm and continue to redefine the boundaries of the modern alternative scene.
In 2024, they embarked on their very first North American tour. At the end of the year 2024 they embark on The Black Tour in Europe.
