Hradby Samoty
Walls of Solitude (Hradby Samoty) is a summer festival of experimental music and art forms, which takes place regularly in a historically significant monument in the Czech Republic or Slovakia. The initial year of the festival took place in 2010 in the ruins of Cimburk Castle in Koryčany.
The festival is thematically focused on audiovisual projects affecting music genres such as dark ambient, dark folk, drone, industrial, noise and various other experimental styles. The idea of the festival is to combine these genres with the mysterious atmosphere of monuments marked by the ravages of time.
The Walls of Solitude also organize their own special concerts and events.
