Hot Mulligan
Hot Mulligan is an American emo/pop-punk band from Lansing, Michigan, active since 2014. The founding members were Nathan “Tades” Sanville (vocals) and Chris Freeman (guitar, vocals; formerly also drums). Other current members include Ryan "Spicy” Malicsi (guitar), Brandon Blakeley (drums), and Jonah Kramer (bass; a permanent member since 2024, previously a touring member).
In 2015, the band released its first EPs, Fenton and Honest & Cunning, through the label Save Your Generation Records. In 2016, they followed with a split EP with the band Everyone Leaves and the EP Opportunities, which was later reissued in an expanded version by No Sleep Records—the same label the band signed with in 2017.
In 2018, Hot Mulligan released their debut studio album Pilot through No Sleep Records. This was followed by the second studio album You’ll Be Fine in 2020, also on No Sleep Records. In 2023, the band signed with Wax Bodega and released their third studio album Why Would I Watch in May 2023. In 2024, they released the EP Warmer Weather, which includes songs such as Stickers of Brian and End Eric Sparrow and The Life of Him.
In June 2025, the fourth studio album The Sound a Body Makes When It’s Still was announced, with a release date set for August 2025.
