Garbage

It is an almost surreal story of success: Three producers found a band, play with different sounds for a while, suddenly find a talented and expressive singer and sell their first album four million times.

Sure is, that the band from the American small town Madison and their Scottish singer created an unmistakable sound with their debut album Garbage in 1995.

Garbe consist of drummer Butch Vig, guitarist and keyboarder Duke Erikson, guitarist Steve Marker and the singer Shirley Manson. Additionally, the group has been accompanied by bassist Daniel Shultman since their second album in 1998, but he is not an official member.
