Freak Power
Freak Power is a British band formed in 1993 by bassist Norman Cook (later known as Fatboy Slim), Ashley Slater (singer and trombonist) and backing vocalist Jesse Graham. Under the Freak Power banner, they released two albums together, Drive-Thru Booty (1994) and More of Everything For Everybody (1996), before going their separate ways. Norman Cook went on to become the producer and DJ known worldwide as Fatboy Slim, while Ashley Slater later reformed Freak Power, taking the reins as bandleader and continuing to keep the band's flow with a group of younger musicians. Their music is a blend of acid jazz, funk, soul and trip hop.
