floating backwards
Floating backwards have been sailing backwards towards the nineties alternative since 2022. With an arsenal of effects boxes that would fill a smaller living room, he creates dense guitar surfaces, sharp fuzz riffs and reverb-drenched melodies. The female voice brings an ethereal softness to the music, while the male vocals add melancholic depth. The compositions are occasionally complemented by a saxophone, pushing the dreamy atmosphere to new dimensions. The band performs as Zuzana Neubauerová (vocals, guitar), Lukáš Himer (guitar, saxophone), David Grant (bass, vocals) and Michal Dušek (drums).
