Fit for an Autopsy
Fit for an Autopsy is an American deathcore band formed in 2008 in Jersey City, New Jersey. The group was originally founded by guitarist and producer Will Putney, guitarist Pat Sheridan, and drummer Brian Mathis. Throughout its existence, the band has undergone several lineup changes, with the most notable being the addition of vocalist Joe Badolato in 2015, who replaced Nate Johnson.
Their debut album, The Process of Human Extermination, was released in 2011. It was followed by several other studio albums: Hellbound (2013), Absolute Hope Absolute Hell (2015), The Great Collapse (2017), The Sea of Tragic Beasts (2019), and Oh What the Future Holds (2022). Musically, the band operates at the intersection of deathcore, death metal, and metalcore. Their lyrics often address social, political, and existential themes.
