His first gigs in Berlin can be traced back to the early 90s, shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall. He started DJing at Subversiv's weekly Monday events. MMM, a collaboration with his friend Errorsmith, was launched shortly after he moved to Berlin.
He later worked at the record store Hard Wax, with which he still has a connection. He has been the head of Killasan Soundsystem since 2001. Fiedel's residency at OstGut began in 2000 and continues to this day and his current home, Berghain.
