Dudley Taft
Dudley Taft, undoubtedly a rising star of the American blues-rock scene. Former member of Sweet Water, Second Coming and Omnivoid, Dudley Taft is a talented composer, an excellent instrumentalist, and especially an individualist who goes beyond the American blues-rock mainstream.
Dudley Taft was born in 1966 in Washington, D.C., where he grew up listening to bands such as Led Zeppelin and Van Halen. He comes straight from a well-known and respected US presidential family as his great-grandfather was the 27th President of the United States, William Howard Taft. He is a philosopher by education, and by choice a musician, composer, music producer, and even a pilot. He came into the world with three post-grade formations: Sweet Water, Second Coming and Omnivoid, opening Alice In Chains concerts. He started working intensively since 2007 creating his own band. The world's music press glorifies the originality of his music and even sees him as the fourth member of ZZ Top due to his stylistic similarity to the famous Texas beards. He is also valued by the film industry for the soundtrack to the film Sextreme Sense with Bruce Willis, as well as Postkod Mil Jondren and The Last Outylaw. He has also collaborated extensively with American TV stations, creating for MTV, Arnold Schwarzenegger Body Building Competition, Big Brother, That Metal Show, Gene Simmons Family Jewels and others. His original discography includes 6 albums, of which Screaming in the Wind was for many weeks ahead of such giants as Robert Plant and Joe Bonamassa on TOP list.
