Druhá tráva
The group Druhá tráva was founded in 1991 by Robert Křesťan and Luboš Malina after their departure from Poutníky. Two distinctive features characterize Druhá Trava – the authorial and interpretative excellence of the singer, lyricist and translator Robert Křesťan and the extraordinary instrumental prowess of the other members of the group.
The band Druhá tráva has been ranked among the top of the folk & country scene not only in the Czech or Slovak Republic since its inception. Although it is often referred to as bluegrass, it has been mixing several styles since the beginning of its existence. Bluegrass refers more to the previous engagement of several members of the group with the Brno Pilgrims.
