Dominik Kisiel

Dominik Kisiel is a pianist, improviser, composer, graduate and lecturer at the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. He strives to maximise the timbral possibilities of the piano and seeks harmonic relationships that create naturally beautiful consonances. Improvisation is the most important part as music therapy, liberation of the soul and connection with the universe. The music, while telling stories, flows in an unbroken stream and takes those participating on an incredible journey beyond the everyday perception of the world and experience of reality. It is a peculiar exploration of the sound space at the level of conveying emotions, discovering geometry and cosmic energy in music, inspired by its different varieties - from classical music to free jazz. The confrontation of the whole with reality, life and musical experiences form the image of the music created by Dominik.
