DIIV is a New York quartet that creatively develops the best traditions of shoegaze. They returned to the scene after a hiatus of several years, during which group leader Zachary Cole Smith had to take care of his health and put his personal life in order. It worked, but as a result, 2019's Deceiver, DIIV's third album, is their strongest and darkest.
