Die Toten Hosen
The German punk rock band Die Toten Hosen was formed in 1982 in Düsseldorf. The band consists of singer Campino (Andreas Frege), guitarists Andreas von Holst and Michael Breitkopf, bassist Andreas Meurer, and drummer Vom Ritchie.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, they released a series of albums that shaped their early sound and expanded their concert activities both in Europe and beyond. Since 1996, they have released recordings through their own label, JKP, building on their previous publishing activities and continuing to release studio albums on a regular basis.
More recently, they expanded their discography with albums such as Laune der Natur (2017). In 2022, they released the compilation Alles aus Liebe: 40 Jahre Die Toten Hosen and the live album Bis zum bitteren Ende – LIVE! 1987–2022, which documents their concert activities over several decades.
The band’s current work includes new studio projects as well as concert activities. The release of the studio album Trink aus, wir müssen gehen! is scheduled for 2026, to be accompanied by a bonus album featuring new versions of older songs.
