Descomunal

Descomunal is considered one of the biggest metal bands in the country, according to e.g. Radio Cocoa. Descomunal was born in 2002 in the Ecuadorean underground rock scene of the early 2000s. Over the years, and with five productions to date, the band has crafted a passionate but yet brutal entity that delivers a unique blend of metal and hardcore that emanates sheer energy. The band has performed live for almost 2 decades throughout the whole region, from open-air festivals with mesmerizing audiences of tens of thousands of people to down scaled theaters and small venues all over Ecuador. After headlining big festivals, playing with the National Symphonic Orchestra of Ecuador and sharing the stage countless times with numerous renowned artists from all over the world, the band dragged international attention, something that resulted in tours abroad in countries such as Colombia, Spain, The Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Italy.
