Dead Kennedys

The Dead Kennedys are an American punk rock band formed in 1978 in San Francisco. The band's music deals with themes of politics, authority and the whole punk movement. Several stores refused to sell their recordings, which sparked a debate about censorship in rock music. In the mid-1980s, singer and main lyricist Jello Biafra became an active campaigner against the Parents Music Resource Center.
