Culcha Candela
Culcha Candela is a reggae, dancehall and hip-hop band from Berlin founded in 2002. The troupe consists of international members. In 2004 they released their debut album Union Verdadera. With the number one single *Hamma! * of 2007, they finally made their breakthrough. The decoupling of the album Culcha Candela later got even platinum. In 2012 they released the single Wildes Ding, which was very well received.
Culcha Candela is an extremely active live band that has played over 900 concerts across Europe. Partially they performed 250 times a year on different stages. The band engages politically and socially and is therefore also represented at various events that pick up on such topics.
