City Defence Walls
Of Krakow's once mighty medieval fortifications, only a fragment has been fully preserved, some 200 metres in length, with the Florian Gate and three adjoining towers. It is now open to the public as a branch of the Krakow Museum; it can be visited as part of the museum's Defence Route tour, which also includes visits to the Celestat and the Barbican.
The branch is closed during the winter period. For exact opening dates, please visit the Museum's website.
