Carpenter Brut
The Frenchman behind Carpenter Brut draws inspiration from television programs from the 80s and B-class movies, in which soundtracks can be heard with a large dose of synthesizers. On the stage, he is accompanied by a guitarist and a drummer. The man standing behind, as the fans call it, Brutagram - creates unique musical images. Metal and dark synth wave are rather hard to combine. This music may seem to be unmatched, but in fact many of the best contemporary synthwave musicians are metalheads who combine these two genres, creating something absolutely surprising. None of the artists in today's music scene personifies such a close relationship of these two genres as Carpenter Brut. His music is undoubtedly dark, and individual songs emanate the richness of images.
