Čára
The band Čára in its current form came into being around January 2021, when its members—bored to death by the never-ending lockdown—gathered in a rehearsal space and began secretly rehearsing both older and new songs. After six months of intense practice, they headed to Šumava and, over the course of a week, recorded their first-ever EP. In its current lineup, the band has played about 10 shows, mostly in Prague. However, the band wouldn’t mind playing in Brno either.
They grew up listening mainly to Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, and other similar bands—except for the bassist, who grew up on folk music and occasionally listens to metal. Given these two influences, our style is a bit of a mix, but everything is rooted in punk rock.
