Brandee Younger
Brandee Younger is a Grammy-nominated harpist, gaining recognition as the first black solo artist nominated in the Best Instrumental Composition category for her song Beautiful Is Black at the 2022 ceremony. Collaborating with artists such as Beyonce, John Legend, Lauryn Hill and others, she demonstrates her ability to seamlessly weave the harp into arrangements and venues where the instrument has historically been overlooked. Younger's achievements are a testament to her deep love of the instrument and her perfect command of it.
Together with Rahsaan Carter (bass guitar) and Allan Medford (drums) she performs as The Brandee Younger Trio.
