Bluszcz is a Wroclaw-based electronic-guitar duo formed in 2016 by two brothers Jarek and Romek Zagrodny. The band moves in the climate of synth-wave music drawing on the sounds of the old Polish synth wave of the 80's with clear influences of post-punk. The band debuted with the album Junior, released on Brennnessel Records in 2017. The album was recorded entirely at home. It is interesting to note that Bluszcz played their first concert at OFF Festival in Katowice, Poland. In 2018, the band received a nomination from Gazeta Wyborcza for the Worth Award in the Music category, and also performed at the Open'er festival in Gdynia, among others. The band has performed at festivals such as Open'er and Męskie Granie. In September 2020, the band returned with their third album entitled Kresz combining modernity with the sound of classic Polish songs of the 80s and 90s.
