Blu & Exile
Blu & Exile is an American hip-hop duo from Los Angeles consisting of rapper Blu and producer Exile. They officially established themselves in 2007 with the release of their debut album Below the Heavens, which showcased their collaborative approach based on a fusion of rap and production rooted in soul samples.
This was followed in 2012 by their second album, Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them, which was followed by other projects, including the compilation album In the Beginning: Before the Heavens (2017) and the EP True & Livin’ (2019). In 2020, the duo released their third studio album, Miles: From an Interlude Called Life, which took several years to create and built on their previous collaboration.
After 2020, the group continued their work with further studio recordings. In 2024, the album Love (the) Ominous World was released, expanding their discography with another full-length project and building on their previous work with a combination of rap lyrics and production based on samples and live elements.
Their current work is represented by the album Time Heals Everything, scheduled for release in 2026, which follows their previous recordings as the duo’s next studio project.
