Blechbläserquintett des Deutschen Symphonie-Orchesters Berlin

In 2007, five musicians of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin joined forces to found the brass quintet of the DSO. The ensemble members share the enthusiasm for chamber music and appreciate the additional challenge in addition to working as an orchestral musician. Thematically coherent concert programs, in which original compositions and arrangements are presented in contextually interesting and varied contexts, are the main focus of the ensemble and since their beginning decisive for the artistic direction. The quintet consists of Falk Maertens and Raphael Mentzen (trumpet), Antoni Adriani (horn), Andreas Klein (trombone) and Johannes Lipp (tuba).
