Architecture Day 2024 Opava

The Architecture Day 2024 festival will take place between 27 September and 3 October and will offer events throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The 14th edition of the Architecture Day has the subtitle Process of Transformation. It refers, among other things, to the 100th anniversary of the death of Franz Kafka, which will be one of the main programme lines and will not only commemorate buildings associated with this author or buildings related to literature, but will also invite to places with „Kafkaesque“ atmosphere. Other sections of the programme will be devoted, for example, to the work of architects Josef Fanta and Karel Hubáček and their collaborators.

Visitors can look forward to various architectural walks or excursions in the company of architects and experts on the subject and other events at the turn of September and October this year, from Friday 27 September to Thursday 3 October 2024.
