Amfiteáter Prešov

The foundation stone of the amphitheater was laid in 1951, using no excavators or bulldozers, but furriers and shovels. The construction took place mostly in a part-time manner from spring to autumn. Young people worked here during the school holidays and during classes, during work shifts and outside them. By combining natural potential, cultural heritage and art in the natural amphitheater, a unique cultural park project was created as a basis for creating and maintaining future partnerships.
