Aleksandra Kuls

Класична музика | Aleksandra Kuls was born in 1991. Her many achievements include First Prize at the Jozsef Szigeti International Violin Competition in Budapest (September 2012) and two special prizes at the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition in Poznań (2011): the Wanda Wiłkomirska Award for the best performance of Karol Szymanowski's compositions and the Independent Critics' Chapter Award.

Aleksandra Kuls has performed as a soloist not only in many cities in Poland (including the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra: She has also performed as a soloist in the USA, Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Brazil, Turkey, Hungary, Ukraine, China and took part in international festivals. The artist had the honour of working with such conductors as Tadeusz Strugała, Antoni Wit, Krzysztof Penderecki, Jerzy Maksymiuk, Marek Pijarowski, Michał Dworzyński, Andrés Mustonen, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Yang Yang, Stanisław Krawczyński and many others. She participated, among others, in Maxim Vengerov's masterclasses. Aleksandra Kuls has been awarded numerous scholarships and prizes for her artistic activity, including: Polityka's Passport 2011_ award in the classical music category, award and scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2011, 2012), scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education (2012), scholarship of Młoda Polska for her debut album (2013) and others. Aleksandra Kuls has recorded two albums for DUX (in duet with Justyna Danczowska and with works for solo violin), she has also recorded * Violin Concerto* by the Polish composer Ignacy Waghalter (together with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra conducted by Andres Mustonen) for the Grand Theatre of the National Opera publishing house.
