Aaron Park‘s Little Big
Little Big is a project of American composer Aaron Parks. The musicians of the project bring to Aaron Parks' music their experience not only from jazz, but also from electronic music, R&B, indie pop, alternative country.
Aaron Parks began to make a name for himself at the turn of the millennium. In the noughties, he came to prominence primarily as Terence Blanchard's sideman. He achieved real success with his fifth album Invisible Cinema from 2008, released on the prestigious Blue Note label. Little Big represents a deliberate return to the electric sound of Invisible Cinema. The same line-up with electric guitar, bass and drums, albeit with new musicians. The sound of the album was again inspired by, among other things, the indie-rock scene.
