ZK Collaboration
ZK Collaboration is a band that was born out of destiny and friendship. The project was formed in 2016 on the initiative of drummer Adam Zagórski and saxophonist Maciej Kądziela. After years of gathering experience abroad, the musicians returned to their homeland and decided to join forces to realise their musical ideas together. They also invited other musicians from different countries around the world to join the project. The band combines harmonically complex Dutch hard-bop with a slight hint of Copenhagen avant-garde and a perceptible inspiration from Polish folk music. They consciously experiment with currents going beyond the framework of contemporary music.
