Isaiah River was born in the Bronx, although he has spent most of his life in a very different place, Palm Beach, Florida. Initially, he co-founded the project Wifisfuneral with DJ Scheme, but their paths diverged and River went down a solo career path. Over the years, Wifisfuneral has collaborated with artists such as XXXTENTACION, YBN Nahmir, Robb Banks and $not. He was a member of the Members Only crew, which included XXX and Ski Mask the Slump God. His stilo is an outgrowth of multi-genre rap inspirations. The Florida representative moves seamlessly between cloud rap, boom bap, southern aesthetics, trap, as well as a more melodic sound. In 2018, he was honoured by XXL magazine and joined the Freshman class. In total, the artist has over a dozen mixtapes, EPs and albums to his credit.
