Wieża Gocławska
Goclaw Tower, formerly known as Bismarck Tower was built in the early twentieth century. The cornerstone for the construction was laid in 1913, its official opening was scheduled for 1915, but due to the ongoing World War I the opening did not take place until August 1, 1921. The tower is located on Green Hill in the Szczecin housing estate Gocław, and although it is at a considerable distance from the city center, it is known to almost all residents of Szczecin. It is a symbol of the northern part of the city, a good landmark, visible from both land and water.
