We Invented Paris
We Invented Paris was founded in 2010 by Flavian Graber, a Swiss singer and songwriter from Liestal, who until then had made solo music under the artist name Flavian. In March 2010 he recorded an album with producer Alex Sprave in Mannheim and then decided to end his solo project and to launch the artist collective We Invented Paris with the album in summer 2011. Graber found friends through a CouchSurfing tour in autumn 2010 touring through five countries, including Stefan Schneider (drums), Michael Rückert (keyboard, bass), Bruce Klöti (electric guitar, bass) and Timm Markgraf (filmmaker). The band has always caused a sensation with their music, but above all with their concept of the artist collective and the associated creative actions. The collective, which describes itself as a family, follows a dedicated do-it-yourself path, which is characterized by the fact that it takes extraordinary and complex actions to bring the music to the listener.
