Warsaw Improvisers Orchestra

Warsaw Improvisers Orchestra is a band devoted to spontaneous creation of music based on the principles of free improvisation - on a large scale. The project was founded in 2012 by saxophonist Ray Dickaty. More than sixty musicians have participated in the project to this day. The orchestra enables them to play in a large, improvising band, although smaller sets - duos, trios, quartets - also form during performances. The orchestra is open to working with hospitable conductors who have the opportunity to take advantage of the enormity of the possibilities offered by the extremely diverse sound palette of such a large band.
